.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid conditions will persist on Sunday. Temperatures
will increase quickly from the upper 70s in the morning to near 90
by noon, maxing out in the low-to-mid 90s by afternoon. Humidity
will remain very high, so heat index values during the
afternoon will reach over 100 degrees. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms can also be expected, particularly after 2 PM and
persisting into the evening hours. Some storms could become strong
to severe with frequent lightning, heavy rainfall, and strong
wind gusts. Outside of any thunderstorms, winds will be light and
NW at 5 mph or less.
