.DISCUSSION...

Conditions overcast with low clouds through the day today. The
next frontal system will move across the southeast through
Saturday bringing increased rain chances overnight tonight into
Saturday afternoon. Total accumulations of less than 0.25" is
expected though isolated amounts of of 0.25 to 0.5" may be
possible in thunderstorms. Thunderstorms potential is low, though
isolated thunder and heavier showers are possible especially in
north Georgia. Winds begin out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph,
however these turn out of the northwest with the cold front. Winds
behind the front and showers will could be sustained 7 to 12 mph
with gusts of 15 to 20mph. Higher elevations could see gusts over
20mph as early as 8am Saturday. Conditions slowly clear through
Sunday. Areas of fog remain this morning, clearing shortly after
sunrise. Patchy fog is possible once again Saturday morning
outside any rain.

Temperatures through the period will be mostly warm with highs
today and tomorrow around 70 and lows in the 50s. Conditions cool
slightly Sunday with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
