.DISCUSSION...
Good morning!
Light to moderate showers are ongoing this morning and are
expected to diminish over the next couple of hours. A momentary
break through the late morning is expected with cloudy conditions
continuing. Rain chances then increase ~1-2pm with a frontal
boundary in the area. Expecting isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms to begin affecting the area ~1-2pm this afternoon
and continuing through the remainder of the afternoon and evening
into sunset. The main threats will be gusty winds, frequent
lightning, and especially heavy rainfall that could lead to flash
flooding concerns. Your high temperatures today will be in the low
80s with light westerly winds.
For Sunday, expecting lower rain chances with isolated showers and
thunderstorms possible during the afternoon and evening time
frame, Coverage is expected to be limited with a wedge of cooler
air in place. Highs Sunday will be noticeably cooler, topping out
around 70-72 degrees.
