WEDNESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

Today will bring hot and dry conditions. Temperatures will soar
into the upper 90s this afternoon with heat index values as high
as 100-105 degrees during the afternoon and early evening. A Heat
Advisory is in effect beginning at 1 PM today.

Wednesday will again bring hot conditions with the Heat Advisory
remaining in effect through 8 PM. Heat index values will again
reach 100-103 degrees Wednesday afternoon. Unlike today, however,
Wednesday afternoon and evening will bring scattered
thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms could become strong to
severe with a risk for strong wind gusts. The highest probability
of receiving a thunderstorm Wednesday afternoon will be after 2 PM
through the late evening.
