.DISCUSSION...
A Fire Danger Statement is in effect this afternoon just south of
the burn site through the early evening hours due to RH values at
25% or less.
Dry and sunny conditions will persist today, with winds a be
lighter than yesterday. Expect Winds to stay out of the W to NW in
the 5-10mph range through Thursday. You may see some gust in the
12-17mph range this afternoon and again Thursday afternoon. Winds
will diminish to 7mph or less over night. Minimum RH values will
get close to critical thresholds (they may even dip below 25% for
an hour or two this afternoon but thinking they should stay mainly in
the 25-30% range. Moisture begins to increase across the area
Thursday so Min RH values will only dip into 35-40% range Thu
afternoon. Looking at the current upper air plot, the inversion
this morning is not very strong and should break between 10am and
11am.
