.DISCUSSION...

Good morning! Patchy fog and low clouds will once again be a
possibility this morning and should dissipate shortly after
sunrise. A cold front approaching from the west will contribute to
heightened rain and thunderstorm chances this afternoon through
the late evening hours. Isolated thunderstorms may begin
developing as early as 12PM with coverage quickly increasing by
2PM. The cold front does not look to move through the Kennesaw
area until late this evening/tonight (~ 7PM to 12 AM). Isolated
strong to severe thunderstorms producing damaging wind gusts will
be possible this afternoon and evening. Additionally, storms will
be efficient rainfall producers and localized flash flooding may
also be possible with stronger storms. Frequent lightning will
accompany any storms that develop. Rain showers and isolated
thunderstorms may linger as late as 1AM to 3AM.

Temperatures start off Storms and increasing clouds should keep
temperatures in the 82 to 88 degree range today. Heat indices will
range from 87 to 91.
