.DISCUSSION...

Good morning! Patchy fog and/or mist will be possible early this morning
and dissipate shortly after sunrise. Isolated to scattered
thunderstorms (35-45 percent) are forecast to develop again as
early as 1-2 PM and continuing until around 9-10 PM. As in
previous days, an isolated strong or severe thunderstorm cannot
be ruled out. Strong wind gusts (40-60 MPH) will be the primary
hazard. Small hail, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning will
also be possible-- the latter two accompanying any storm that
develops.

Temperatures will start off in the 70-73 degree range prior to
sunrise and will quickly warm into the upper 70s to low 80s after
9 AM. Daytime high temperatures are forecast to climb near 86-90
degrees in Kennesaw this afternoon. Heat index values will range
from 90 to 93.
