.DISCUSSION...
A line of showers and thunderstorms is moving SE over central GA.
Will see another round of showers tonight with the frontal
boundary finally exiting the area just before daybreak Sunday.
Significantly cooler, drier, and windy conditions will set up
behind the cold front Sunday. Minimum RH values Sunday and Monday
will range from 25- 35 percent with values expected in the 20-25%
range Tuesday. Winds will be out of the NW around 15-20 mph with
gusts of 25-30 mph, with even higher values in the mountains.
Mixing heights on Sunday are forecast to peak between
5500-6500 ft. Breezy winds and mostly clear skies will begin to
dry out fuels going into early next week. The potential for
hazardous fire weather conditions will need to be monitored for
Monday and Tuesday.
