No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Dry weather is forecast to persist today, though abundant high
clouds can be expected. Moisture will begin to increase today, and
minimum relative humidity values this afternoon are forecast to
range from the lower 40 percent range in northwest Georgia to
upper 50 percent to near 60 percent range across much of the rest
of the area.
Continued increasing moisture will bring a slight chance for a
few showers or isolated thunderstorms on Sunday, primarily in
Middle Georgia. Even so, any rainfall is expected to remain light,
mainly under a tenth of an inch. Expect breezy easterly winds
today and Sunday at 6-12 mph with occasional gusts 15-20 mph.
