No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Relative humidity values remain above 40 percent through the
weekend. Mixing heights max out 3.5 to 5 kft each afternoon. Winds
SW at 7 to 12 mph, becoming more W through the day and gusting up to
20 mph in northeast GA. A line of thunderstorms will move through
the area early this morning and continue southward through the
early afternoon hours. A few storms could be strong with heavy
rainfall, frequent lightning, and gusty/erratic winds. Thunderstorm
chances return Sunday. Total rainfall through the weekend of up to
about 1" of rain.
