No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Minimum values of relative humidity will be in the upper-30 to 40
percent range through tomorrow afternoon. We ended up far drier
than forecast yesterday, so will need to keep an eye on trends
this afternoon. Surface winds today will be northwest at 13-20
mph, with gusts to 25 and perhaps as high as 30 mph (highest in
the terrain of NE Georgia). On Saturday, winds will continue to
slacken into the 7-11 mph range with low-end gusts to 15 mph
possible. Mixing heights of 3-4kft today and 2-3kft tomorrow under
sunny to mostly sunny skies.
