.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
A drier airmass will persist on Friday, leading to minimum RH
values in the upper 30 percent to mid 40 percent range. Dry
weather is expected under mostly sunny skies other than a rogue
shower or thunderstorm possible in far southern portions of
central Georgia. Winds will be west at 2-5 mph.
By Saturday, moisture will quickly surge back into the area with
widespread showers and thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall
could bring in excess of 1-2" rainfall in some areas. Minimum RH
values will range from near 50 percent in east Georgia to in
excess of 80 percent in west Georgia. Winds will be SW at
6-10 mph.
