.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
The influence of high pressure over north and central Georgia
will weaken through Saturday, leading to an uptick in
afternoon/evening rain chances between now and then. The chance
for wetting rain across the fire zones is 15% to 35% between the
two days.
Light east to southeast 20-foot winds are expected through the
remainder of today with speeds generally under 7 mph. By
Saturday, wind direction becomes more variable. Transport winds
will be similar directionally with speeds of 5-10 mph. Relatively
weak transport winds but decent mixing heights suggest that
dispersion may be fair. Minimum relative humidity will range from
~40% to ~60% both days.
