.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Patchy fog remains a possibility this morning particularly in low-
lying areas and anywhere that received decent rainfall yesterday.
Any fog should burn off shortly after sunrise. The fire weather risk
remains low through the weekend given continued humid conditions and
a stalled frontal boundary bringing wetting rainfall each day.
Similar to previous days, stronger storms could produce hourly rain
rates of over 2 inches per hour and wind gusts up to 50 MPH.
Rainfall totals of 1-3 inches upwards of 5 inches over the next 3
days remain a possibility in our far SE zones. Minimum RH values
above 65% are expected through Sunday. Light winds (< 6 kts) out of
the E to SSE across most of North and Central GA are expected this
afternoon. Winds may be more variable south of Macon and Columbus.
