.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time, as
relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Conditions are expected to be warm through the end of the week under
mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Isolated rain showers (and a
few rumbles of thunder) will be possible in portions of far
northeast Georgia this afternoon, but chances remain less than 20
percent at this time. Minimum RH values will range from 50-60
percent across the area this afternoon. Winds this afternoon be
primarily N at 4-8 mph, diminishing after sunset and shifting to E
overnight. Precipitation is not expected on Friday, and minimum RH
values are forecast to be slightly lower than today, ranging from 40
percent in far northwest Georgia to just above 50 percent in east-
central Georgia. Winds on Friday will be N to NE at 4-8 mph once
again. Mixing heights will range from 5000-7000 ft each afternoon.
