.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Cloudy to start this morning as a system begins to slowly
approach the area from the west today. Some clearing may occur
during the afternoon in parts of central and eastern GA, but cloud
cover expected to remain elsewhere into the afternoon. 20 ft
winds from the S to SE will continue to pull some surface moisture
into the state which, when combined with some cloud cover, should
prevent RHs from falling too low during the afternoon. Min RHs
are forecast in the mid 30s to mid 40s across the area. Mixing
heights will rise to 5-6.5 kft and transport winds will be from
the SE at 8-15 mph. Ventilation may be a bit more limited than
previous days as a result, and ADI values rise to 60-70 across all
but far NW GA, where better transport winds bring higher values
closer to 100.
