The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Baldwin County in central Georgia...
  Northern Wilkinson County in central Georgia...
  Southwestern Washington County in east central Georgia...

* Until 315 PM EDT Saturday.

* At 909 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
  warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Milledgeville, Gordon, Ivey, Oconee, Midway-Hardwick, Scottsboro,
  Pancras, Hardwick, Allenwood, Coopers, Hebron and Browns Crossing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
