* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Dawson County in north central Georgia...
  Southeastern Fannin County in north central Georgia...
  Southeastern Gilmer County in north central Georgia...
  Northwestern Hall County in north central Georgia...
  Lumpkin County in north central Georgia...
  Southern Union County in north central Georgia...
  South Central Towns County in northeastern Georgia...
  White County in northeastern Georgia...

* Until 345 AM EDT.

* At 947 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

  Dahlonega, Cleveland, Dawsonville, Clermont, Helen, Suches, Unicoi
  State Park, Porter Springs, Turners Corner, Gooch Mountain
  Shelter, Garland, Camp Coleman Lake, Woods Hole Shelter, Blood
  Mountain Shelter, Camp Merrill, Auraria, Gaddistown, Whitley Gap
  Shelter, Qualatchee Lake and Vogel State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
