In east central Georgia, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Taliaferro, Warren, Washington and Wilkes. * WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall from slow moving thunderstorms will be possible today and tomorrow. Widespread totals of 1-3" are expected, but some locations where storms stall may receive in excess of 5" of rainfall, much of it falling within a short time period.
