...A strong thunderstorm and outflow boundary will impact portions
of southwestern Caldwell, southeastern Hays, northeastern Guadalupe
and east central Comal Counties through 1215 AM CDT...

At 1132 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Martindale, or 7 miles southwest of Lockhart, and an
outflow boundary moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
New Braunfels, San Marcos, Kyle, Seguin, Lockhart, Luling,
Martindale, Kingsbury, Staples, Fentress, Geronimo, Zorn, Hunter,
Joliet, Stairtown, San Marcos Regional Airport, Maxwell, Reedville,
Redwood, and Freiheit.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
