...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Hays and
southwestern Travis Counties through 800 PM CDT...

At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Shady Hollow, or over Tanglewood Forest, moving southwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Austin, Buda, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Tanglewood Forest,
Woodcreek, Bear Creek, Onion Creek, Barton Creek, Driftwood, Shady
Hollow, Manchaca, Mountain City, Sunset Valley, San Leanna, Hays,
Mount Gainor, Hays City, and Lost Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
