.DISCUSSION...

Partly cloudy conditions are expected to continue for the rest of
the day. Generally light southeast winds are forecast this
evening with 20-ft winds below 10 mph, though occasional gusts up
to 20 mph are possible through midnight. The chance of showers in
the region is low, but not negligible as atmospheric conditions
are somewhat unstable into the early evening. Any shower
activity in the area will likely be localized but could produce
gusty and erratic winds. Relative humidity is currently bottoming
out near 40 percent and will increase quickly after sunset with
strong overnight moisture recovery expected. Winds will weaken to
a very light southerly to south-southwesterly flow tonight and
return to southeasterlies tomorrow. Conditions will be similar
Friday, with a low chance of rain in the afternoon and evening.
