.DISCUSSION...

Breezy southwesterly winds are expected to continue to early this
afternoon with gusts up to 25-30 mph and generally moist near-
surface conditions before winds gradually decrease towards sunset.
A few showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible, mainly
after sunset, though most activity is expected to remain to the
east.

A strong cold front is forecast to reach the Kyle area sometime
between 9 PM and 11 PM. Expect a rapid change to a blustery north
wind with sustained winds as high as 25 mph and gusts as high as
35-40 mph. Wind gusts are expected to be strongest between
midnight at 6 AM Sunday. A gradual decrease in winds is forecast
Sunday afternoon, but winds remain breezy throughout the day.
Colder temperatures arrive quickly with the front, dropping into
the low 40s with minimum wind chills in the low 30s Sunday
morning. The cooler air should keep relative humidity above 40
percent tomorrow.
