.DISCUSSION...

Locally elevated fire weather conditions will continue through
the rest of the day. Relative humidity is bottoming out this
afternoon near or just under 20 percent over Zavala County.
Southeasterly winds will remain breezy through the evening before
weakening after about midnight. Some intensification of winds may
occur between 8 PM and 11 PM due to the seabreeze. Sustained 20-ft
winds approaching 15 mph are possible with gusts up to 25 mph
between now and midnight. Winds will weaken and turn towards light
easterlies after midnight. Expect strong overnight moisture
recovery beginning with the arrival of the seabreeze. Fire
conditions improve slightly Wednesday with winds trending weaker
and humidity slightly higher, but breezy and dry conditions return
Wednesday afternoon.
