.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm temperatures today through Friday will turn
unseasonably cool Saturday through Tuesday. The dryline will mix
to the east this afternoon. Minimum humidities in the teens and
20s are expected across the Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande Plains
today. However, winds will be less than 10 mph with only elevated
fire weather conditions. Elsewhere, southerly winds will maintain
a humid airmass. There are very low low chances for wetting rains
mainly across the I-35 corridor north of Austin. A strong cold
front moves across the area late Friday into Saturday morning
leading to increased chances of wetting rains tonight through
Saturday morning. Near critical fire weather conditions may
return to the Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande Plains Saturday and
Sunday during the afternoon hours due to minimum humidities in
the teens and 20s along with northerly winds of 10 to 15 mph and
gusty.
