Continued hot and dry weather and a lack of rainfall over the past
month or so will result in increased fire weather concerns as fuels
dry out particularly over the I-35 Corridor and into the Coastal
Plains. Elevated fire danger will be present, particularly as winds
ramp up in the late afternoon and early evening hours.
