.DISCUSSION...
Slightly greater moisture and a weak front moving southward from
north Texas should be enough to provide spotty isolated to widely
scattered showers from this afternoon through early evening and
again on Wednesday afternoon across the region. Minimum relative
humidity will be higher and range in the 35 to 50 percent range
generally both afternoons. Light northeasterly breezes in the
wake of the front will result in return of some drier air and for
minimum humidity levels to drop into the 20 to 35 percent range
late week into the start of the weekend. Winds stay generally
light but there could be enough of a flow with the drier air into
Friday and Saturday, for local elevated fire weather conditions
to the east of the I-35 corridor. This region with the lack of
significant rainfall over the last month or two, has seen an
uptick in small grass fires as well.
