.DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry conditions are forecast across South Central Texas
through next week. However, spotty showers may be possible each
afternoon beginning on Friday for portions of our area. Fuels are
dry for most of the area with critically dry conditions across
portions of the Hill Country, I-35 corridor, and Coastal Plains.
Minimum afternoon humidity will range from 20 to 30 percent though
Friday, then should be above 30 percent Saturday into next week.
20 ft wind speeds will be near or below 10 mph through the period
mainly out of an easterly direction. These fire weather conditions
may make the environment more vulnerable to fire starts.
