.DISCUSSION...
Showers and a few storms will push off to the east this morning.
Drier and warmer air will filter into our area this afternoon
lowering minimum RH values into the teens and lower 20s over the
Rio Grande Plains and the Edwards Plateau with wind speeds topping
out below 15 mph. This results in elevated fire weather
conditions there. A cold front moves across our area this evening
with gusty winds through Thursday. Minimum RH will remain elevated
due to much colder temperatures. A brief warm up on Saturday will
result in another round of possible elevated fire weather
conditions across the Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande Plains due to
low minimum RH and breezy winds. Another cold front moves across
the area late Saturday into Saturday night leading to cold
temperatures Sunday into Monday. Low minimum RH is expected along
the Rio Grande on Sunday, however winds will be lighter. RH
recovers on Monday with warmer temperatures on Tuesday.
