.DISCUSSION...
Summertime high pressure is expected to keep conditions dry and
warm for most of this weekend into next week. However, the mid
level circulation of former tropical disturbance AL93 moving
across the Hill Country, likely brings isolated showers and even
a storm or two across the I-35 corridor and Coastal Plains from
this afternoon into early this evening. Warm and seasonable
daytime temperatures ranging from the lower 90s to around 100 are
expected for most of South- Central Texas each day of the work
week. Southerly to south- southeasterly winds are forecast to
persist through the forecast period, remaining mostly under 10 mph
except for slightly gustier spots in the Rio Grande Plains and
south of San Antonio and at higher elevation in the southern
Edwards Plateau during the afternoons until about midweek.
Relative humidity remains above 30 percent for most of the region
but could briefly dip just below that along the Rio Grande during
the afternoons next week.
