.DISCUSSION...
A cold front arrives Monday afternoon into Monday evening with
northerly winds and drier air in the wake of the boundary. The
minimum RH levels from the Hill Country through the Southern
Edwards Plateau drop below 30 percent with increasing moderate to
breezy north winds into Monday evening. There will be enough of an
overlap for the brief period of elevated fire weather conditions
over those locations. Elsewhere, the winds lag until after sunset
and should limit the concern for fire weather. Humidity levels
will recover to above 30 percent across majority of the region
from Tuesday into Wednesday with returning southerly flow. Another
cold front is then forecast to arrive by Thanksgiving morning.
The front will bring a much cooler and drier airmass to the
region. The minimum humidity levels lower from Thanksgiving onward
into mainly the 25 to 35 percent range. No precipitation is
forecast through the period.
