The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Llano County in south central Texas...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 454 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up
  to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
  ongoing.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Castell, Valley Spring, Prairie Mountain, Field Creek and
  Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
