...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL SIERRA COUNTY
THROUGH 245 PM MDT...

At 221 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 12 miles east of Monticello, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rock House, Alamosa Canyon, Las Placitas, Elephant Butte Lake, and
South Monticello Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
