...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PARTS OF EAST AND FAR EAST EL
PASO AND CHAPARRAL THROUGH 230 AM MDT...

At 141 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
just west of Hueco Tanks, moving west at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
East, Northeast, and Far East El Paso, Chaparral, Mission Valley,
Clint, Horizon City, Hueco Tanks, San Elizario, Fort Bliss, Socorro,
Sparks, Homestead Meadows, and Agua Dulce.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
