...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN OTERO AND EASTERN
SIERRA COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM MDT...

At 1034 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 9 miles southwest of Three Rivers, moving northeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Three Rivers and Three Rivers Petroglyph Site.

This includes Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 87 and
100.
