...Short Heat Wave expected Thursday and Friday...

Temperatures will continue warming significantly over the next two
days. Highs over much of the lowlands will reached the upper 90s
and the urban areas of Las Cruces and El Paso, along with the
lower valley to the southeast, will reach 100-102 degrees both
days. Residents in these areas are urged to use caution and limit
outdoor activities over the next two days. Temperatures will drop
some after Friday, but remain above normal.
