...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LUNA AND
SOUTHWESTERN DONA ANA COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM MDT...

At 723 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 25 miles southwest of Santa Teresa to 31 miles
east of Carzalia Valley to 17 miles south of Columbus. Movement was
north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph with blowing dust and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Carzalia Valley, Waterloo, Mount Riley, and Camel Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
