...NOAA WEATHER RADIO OUTAGE FOR SITE RELOCATION - EL PASO
ENGLISH...

Beginning Tuesday June 10th, NOAA Weather Radio station WXK25 El
Paso on frequency 162.475MHz will go offline for a scheduled
relocation from Ranger Peak to Comanche Peak. Areas affected
include El Paso and western Hudspeth Counties in far west Texas,
as well as portions of southern Dona Ana and southern Otero
counties in south-central New Mexico. This service disruption is
expected to last multiple days while technicians work to relocate
the station and resume broadcast.

If you normally rely on NOAA Weather Radio for warnings, plan to
have alternative sources of weather alerts and warnings during
this disruption. Nearest active NOAA Weather Radio station is
WXL91 Las Cruces at frequency 162.400 MHz. Other options include
TV, internet, mobile weather apps, and county emergency
notification subscriptions. Latest forecasts can be found at
weather.gov/elpaso or by calling the Weather Forecast Office at
575-589-4088.
