...BLOWING DUST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected. Visibility between one quarter mile and one mile in
  blowing dust expected.

* WHERE...West Central Tularosa Basin/White Sands.

* WHEN...Through 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced
  visibility. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power
  lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust.
Remember, Pull Aside, Stay Alive.

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

  expected.

* WHERE...Sacramento Mountains in Otero County above 6000 feet.

* WHEN...Through 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Stronger wind gusts may be sporadic
  during the morning hours, but will become more frequent by
  late morning through the afternoon.

* WHAT...Visibility between one quarter mile and one mile in
  blowing dust expected. West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up
  to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest New Mexico and
  southwest Texas.

* WHEN...Through 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced
  visibility. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts will favor areas
  along the east slopes of mountain ranges.
