.DISCUSSION...
On and off periods of precipitation will be the rule throughout
the period. For Friday, precipitation type may start as a rain and
snow mix, but should become all rain shortly after daybreak.
Latest guidance suggests the mostly likely time for a break in
precipitation will come after sunset Friday before another wave
of precipitation arrives early Saturday morning with rain lasting
most of the day. By sunset Saturday, rain is expected to change
over to snow with scattered snow showers lasting into Sunday
morning. Expected liquid totals look to range between 0.25-0.75"
with a trace to 2" of snow, occurring mainly Saturday night.

Winds throughout the period will generally be the from the west,
less than 10 MPH with smoke transport to the east and northeast.
Venting will be poor with the wet, stable conditions.
