.DISCUSSION...
Upper level disturbance responsible for yesterday`s winds will
continue migrating across the Desert Southwest today. This will
bring strong winds in and around the fire this afternoon, peaking
around 1400 MDT to 1700 MDT. Wind gusts will not be as strong as
yesterday, but gusts around 50 MPH will still be likely. Southwest
winds will slowly turn more westerly by around 1800 to 1900 MDT.
Moisture will be improved by around 5 to 7 percent, allowing
minimum RH to settle in the lower 20 percent range. Winds will be
lighter on Thursday, with locally breezy conditions in the
afternoon. Chances for precipitation will increase Friday and
Saturday with a moderate chance the fire could see wetting
rain/accumulating snowfall.
