.DISCUSSION...

Generally low fire weather concerns the next few days. Min RH values this
afternoon will be between 15-20 percent dependent on elevation, becoming 10-15
percent on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will continue to warm through
the week, becoming 5-10 above average on Saturday and Sunday. Winds will
remain generally light at 7-15 mph and out of the south, becoming southwest to
west this weekend. Smoke ventilation rates poor this afternoon, becoming fair
on Saturday and Sunday.

**On or about February 1, 2025, the NWS will discontinue Haines Index
  and Lightning Activity Level(LAL) in all Fire Weather Products. The
  discontinuation is due to the new science demonstrating the forecast
  information is best assessed through other forecast fields.**
