.DISCUSSION...
Limited low level moisture east of the Rio Grande will once again
quickly mix out to the east today. A warming and drying trend will
continue through the weekend, with increasingly poor overnight
recovery as the overnight moisture surges come to an end. RH
values in the afternoon will drop below 5 percent across much of
the desert lowlands, and into the lower 10s across the higher
terrain. Winds, however, will be generally light, but with
some afternoon breezes around 20 mph. Temperatures will climb
above the 100 degree mark across the lowest elevations.

Low level moisture will increase again Monday night into Tuesday,
and while the main focus for thunderstorm activity will be over
the plains, there is a chance some showers and storms could work
into the Sacramento Mountains and nearby areas later Tuesday.
