.DISCUSSION...

Today is the day we start to see the effects of high pressure
building back over the region. Most areas will start a steady
warmup, with day to day rises in temperatures making for well
above normal heat ffor the weekend and next week. Also, we will
begin to see reduced storm coverage. But today we will keep a
good chance for mountain storms, and at least isolated lowland
storms. After today, storms and rain will be scarce, and becoming
absent, as dry and stable conditions take over for most, if not
all, of next week.
