.DISCUSSION...
Warmer and drier to start out east, as high pressure shifts east and
pushes our moisture to the Gila and Bootheel areas of SW New Mexico.
Storms will be limited east of the Rio Grande Thursday, with the focus
of storms west. Starting Friday, we see a deep monsoonal moisture return,
on deep southerly flow. The entire region should see more clouds, along
with more widespread storms, leading to slightly lower temperatures and
elevated relative humidity. This will continue Saturday and Sunday. For
next week, high pressure moves back west, but stays far enough north,
that we will keep enough moisture and instability to keep daily rain and
storm chances across the region, despite minor warming and drying.
