.DISCUSSION...
Storms have departed, and we are now under a steady northwest flow
of drier air. For the entire week ahead the region will have fair,
benign, dry, and near seasonal conditions, with mostly light winds.
This means warmer and drier conditions to start the week. Late week
will transition to broad high pressure aloft, which will keep the
region dry and mild. Light winds will keep ventilation relatively
poor. Skies will be mostly clear early week, with periods of passing
high clouds late week. Temperatures will warm, and run 3-5 degrees
warmer than normal. RH will be good each overnight, and stay above 20
percent each afternoon. Our next storm system looks poised to our
west for a windy Sunday, with precipitation to follow early next week.
