.DISCUSSION...

The region rests between storm systems tonight and most of Saturday
as we see dry weather and near seasonal fall temperatures. Winds will
continue light through midday Saturday. After a cool overnight, with
good RH recovery, we will see a slightly warmer day Saturday, with
slightly lower minRH, more clouds moving in, and winds shifting to
easterly. We expect some breezy and gusty east winds overnight into
Sunday morning. The next Pacific storm system will arrive in the early
evening tomorrow, with precipitation developing over western areas,
spreading east across the entire region through the night. The best
rain/snow chances will be from Saturday evening through early Sunday
afternoon. Snow will remain above 8000ft, and both rain and snow amounts
should be light, below 1/3" and 2" respectively. The storm exits Sunday
afternoon with a dry weather pattern, steady seasonal temperatures, light
winds, and RH in the 20-30 percent range each day, through all of next
week.
