.DISCUSSION...
Critical fire weather conditions will return today as an upper
level storm system makes its way into the Desert Southwest. West
to west-southwest winds will strengthen early with gusts of 40 to
45 mph commonplace. After a night of fair recovery, humidity will
plummet back into the low double and single digits in the
afternoon. The exception to this will be across the Gila, where
non-critical RH will prevail. Chances for light precipitation are
expected Saturday but wetting precipitation is not expected.
