...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM MDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwestern Hudspeth County in West Texas.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 911 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms across the Rio Grande valley between Acala and
    Esperanza. This area received heavy rainfall last night, in
    addition to the current round of rainfall. Low water
    crossings may become impacted, especially in arroyos which
    lack retention dams.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Fort Hancock, Fort Quitman, Esperanza, Acala, Finlay and
    McNary.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
