...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Sierra County in New Mexico, including
  Cuchillo Creek.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some
  low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 453 PM MDT, Heavy rain has fallen from a slow moving
    thunderstorm between Chise and Cuchillo. Runoff from this
    rainfall will cause increased flows along Cuchillo Creek and
    side canyons, and may inundate low water crossings along Farm
    Canyon Road and Cuchillo Creek Road through this evening.

    Cuchillo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
