...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding of small streams and low water crossings.

* WHERE...Portions of northwestern Sierra County in New Mexico.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some
  low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 521 PM MDT, Thunderstorms northwest of Winston have
    produced 1 to 1.5 inches of rain in arroyos that feed into
    Poverty Creek. Low water crossings along Highway 52 may
    become inundated and too dangerous to cross for a time this
    evening.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Poverty Creek along Highway 52 down through Winston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
